I am a Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies major at the University of Kentucky where I also minor in Technical Writing and French which is my second language. I am passionate about all things communication, whether it’s writing, art, photography, or helping others with any of the sort.

I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and am part of a Southern family. I quickly realized that when other people think of the South, they don’t conjure the same image as I do. I see bluegrass fields and bourbon, but I also see a community and culture rooted in radical acceptance, queer joy, and a thriving music scene.

My creative work focuses on inherent juxtapositions of my hometown and its marginalized identities, while serving as a love letter for the bluegrass state so many misunderstand.

I’m looking to break into the publishing industry to continue to support underrepresented voices by working behind the scenes in print media.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, talking to my girlfriend, working on my Volvo hatchback, and learning as much as I can about anything and everything.
